Description
The Front Desk Supervisor will be responsible for the smooth and successful operation of their shift and the daily activities at the Front desk and Guest Services as well as the ability to act as a liaison with other departments on behalf of the desk.
The Supervisor must exhibit leadership abilities in order to commit to ongoing Guest Experiences. This position takes an active role in all aspects of training. This involves on-boarding new associates, as well as intermediate training for all Front Desk Associates of new standards or processes; therefore, the candidate must be an effective communicator and have the ability to be a positive coach and mentor.
Qualifications
Previous Front Desk Supervisory experience or at minimum 3 years Hotel Front Desk experience
Excellent working knowledge of Front Desk procedures and reservation office procedures
Possess leadership abilities
Positive, outgoing personality with the ability to lead by example
Ability to encourage and promote an environment of teamwork
Strong decision making skills
Superior customer service Skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and flex as need be
Adept with computer software
