Front Gate Park Administrators

Sandy Beach Regional Park is seeking friendly and outgoing individuals to join our team for the 2024 Spring/Summer season as Front Gate Park Administrators . As the first point of contact for visitors, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for all park guests and residents.

Full and Part Time Seasonal (May to the end of September) - flexible with start/end dates. Duration of the employment season and actual hours of work will be weather dependent. Weekend work & some shift work will be required.

Responsibilities:

- Greet and welcome park visitors, providing them with information on park activities, amenities, and rules

- Operate cash register and point of sale system

- Handle inquiries and resolve any visitor complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner

- Coordinate reservations for golf and park facilities such as the hall, outdoor cook area and group camping.

- Assist with the organization and execution of special events or programs within the park

- Answer phone calls and provide assistance with online bookings

- Perform custodial/general grounds maintenance tasks including garbage collection, washroom and front entrance building cleanings.

- Collaborate with other park staff members to ensure smooth operation of daily tasks

Qualifications:

- Must have a valid drivers license

- Previous experience in a customer service role preferred

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with visitors of all ages and backgrounds

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to handle multiple tasks efficiently

- Proficient computer skills

- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours as needed
