Front of House and Line Baker

Midnight Cookie is a newly opened late-night cookie shop in Midtown, Toronto. We prepare made-to-order cookies from the early afternoon to 2 AM six nights a week. Currently, we are expanding our team, looking for quick learners who are willing to take on a variety of roles from prep work, Front of House, cookie cutting and baking.

Position Entails

• Interacting with customers, taking orders and being an ambassador for the midnight cookie brand
• Cutting dough and assembling cookies with a variety of toppings
• Baking cookies and managing multiple orders in the oven
• Preparing ingredients and assisting in dough making
• Availability to work late nights (2 AM on weekdays and 3 AM on weekends)
• Cleaning and preforming other basic miscellaneous tasks.

Requirements

• Fluent in English (additional languages are considered an asset)
• Food Handler's License
• At least 1 year of experience working in a professional kitchen or bakery
• Ability to handle high volumes of orders and maintain consistent, high quality results
• Strong teamwork and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to remain calm during high intensity situations
• Ability to stand for a long periods of time

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: From $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
