Front of House Staff | Luxury Fishing Resort, Haida Gwaii

QCL is a Luxury Fishing Resort set in a protected harbor at the northern end of Haida Gwaii. We pride ourselves in the comfort, friendliness, and platinum standard services we provide, and are interested in crew that share this paradigm. Our summer season begins late May, running until mid-September.

All crew are provided with pre/post season return travel from Vancouver to Haida Gwaii, meals, a staff lounge and gym facility, shared accommodations, quality uniforms and the opportunity to fish throughout the season.

HOUSEKEEPING

We strive for guests to feel at home throughout their stay and that often begins with their room. Ensuring all guest quarters are left perfectly detailed and stocked is a priority. Our Housekeeping Team consists of detail oriented and dedicated individuals responsible for maintaining guest rooms property wide.

1+ years of experience in a similar role considered an asset

RETAIL SALES & GUEST EXPERIENCE

Our team of professional and engaging individuals provide guests with thoughtful service, making all feel valued. Share product knowledge, take initiative and make a lasting impression on all QCL guests.

2+ years of experience in a similar role is required

All Role Requirements

• Relocating to QCL (Spring-Fall) position based in Haida Gwaii
• Previous resort experience is considered an asset
• Ability to carry moderate-heavy loads, bend/kneel easily, and withstand being on your feet for the entirety of each shift
• Solid interpersonal skills allowing one to work effectively in a diverse and dynamic setting
• Desire to learn and provide a first-class guest experience
• Passion for the West Coast and interest in the adventures that come along with working/living in a remote lodge environment
