Job Description


Front Office Supervisor

First impressions are everything! Showcase your interpersonal strengths as Front Office Supervisor, where you will lead, train and recognize your team in support of exceptional guest service!


What you will be doing:

  • Greet, check-in, respond to requests and settle accounts while providing exceptional service
  • Train new Guest Service Agents
  • Assist the Assistant Front Office Managers in all aspects of the department
  • Maintain accurate records of daily transactions, including cash handling - currency exchange and balancing a float
  • Serve as a sales agent promoting and up-selling hotel services
  • Take initiative to add a personalized experience
  • Proudly promote the hotel facilities, looking for opportunities to enhance a guest’s stay through up-selling
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications


Your experience and skills include:

  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
  • Prior experience working with Opera or a related system required
  • Previous front desk experience is required, previous customer service experience is an asset
  • Service focused personality is essential


Physical aspects include but are not limited to:

  • Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
  • Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
