  • Return to Office*:
As of March 2022 Loblaw has adopted the following Hybrid working model (a combination of working between the office and remotely). Colleagues will continue working remotely up to 2 days a week, while spending the other 3 days in the office.

Overview

Creates and loads automatic distribution (MOG) spreadsheets into Tecsys and sends out confirmation to Category Management / Inventory Management. Update MOG inclusion Lists and manage urgent MOG change requests from Category Management. Follow-up with Category Management for MOGs that are delayed/pushed, UPCs not built and SKU’s not sent for the MDQ; Duties will include but are not limited to working in the Merchandising and Promotions Departments. Responsible for Report Writing; Filing and Clerical Duties. All other duties as assigned.

Primary Responsibilities

Creates and loads automatic distribution (MOG) spreadsheets into Tecsys and sends out confirmation to Category Management / Inventory Management

Update MOG inclusion Lists and manage urgent MOG change requests from Category Management. Follow-up with Category Management for MOGs that are delayed/pushed, UPCs not built and SKU’s not sent for the MDQ. Handle any ad-hoc MOG inquiries

Maintains MOG Approval Spreadsheet and hard copy forms in filing cabinet and is responsible for logging all MOGs in excel spreadsheets to keep accurate and up to date records of orders

Prepares for and attends Weekly and Period MOG Approval Meeting

Responsible for sending out MOG Approval Meeting Minutes to Category Management/ Inventory/ Merchandising and Promotions. Also responsible for updating the MOG Period Template for Merchandising every week

Cancels store orders by Province or DC in Tecsys based on Promotional Change Form (PCF) requests and maintain spreadsheet listing all cancellation activity. Sends out weekly cancellation updates to Senior Management

Run CPMS event reports and Tecsys reports to compare event deals and ensure deals are maintained accurately in both systems

Updates Food Flyer and MOG Inclusion Store List and Set-up of Food Flyer Transmission

Run CPMS event report weekly to ensure that all Density items in the flyer are entered correctly

Send weekly updates to Store Concepts on Dummy stores loaded for all Capital Plan Stores

Set-up New Capital Plan stores according to the File build request

Skills, Knowledge & Education

This position requires a demonstrated level of initiative, attention to detail and judgement in order to organize and prioritize tasks, workload and projects

Courtesy, tact and diplomacy are required in dealing with colleagues in every day working relationships

Requires an understanding of inter-related work processes to be able to adapt to differing assignments

Provides routine information to coordinate the assignments and work procedures of others

Draws on a number of known options to solve problems and to develop improvements

Adaptable to set and prioritize work with varying exceptions. Able to work with diverse personalities and styles

Advanced understanding of excel is required

Communicates with clarity, verbally and in one on one or group situations, or over the telephone

Communicates well in writing by composing clear documents; facility with editing and/or proof-reading is required

Data Entry: high level of data entry - accuracy and attention to detail is very important
