SalaryAspen View Public Schools, with a division office located in the town of Athabasca, is a rural school division providing diverse and innovative programming to students in a number of communities. The division is unique in that it is surrounded by a multitude of lakes, golf courses and trails that appeal to an active, outdoor lifestyle while still being in close proximity to larger urban centers.
Many schools within Aspen View are geographically located to allow beginning teachers to meet the requirements of the Northern Student Teacher Bursary and/or Northern Alberta Development Council bursaries
Thorhild Central School, located in the Hamlet of Thorhild, provides educational services to approximately 300 students in Grades K-12.
Thorhild Central School requires a temporary, full-time teacher to teach Grade 7/8 Math and Science as well as Chemistry 30.
