Peninsula Co-op is a Vancouver Island-based co-operative with a mission to build strong communities and to benefit its member-owners. With approximately 470 staff, Peninsula Co-op operates 17 retail Fuel and Convenience Centres, 9 liquor stores, 3 commercial card lock and home heating outlets, and a full-sized food store. The Co-op generates approximately $300 million in annual sales and donates over $500k each year to local charities. Peninsula Co-op is inviting applications for the position of Fuel and Convenience Centre Associate (we like to call you Customer Service Representative). We have a full-time, 32-40 hrs. per week opportunity available at our Brentwood location, 6739 West Saanich Road, Brentwood Bay. Our ideal candidate will have the availability to accommodate a Monday to Friday, morning to evening shift.

We are a full-service Fuel and Convenience Centre looking for an individual to join our committed and engaged environment. - Always look for ways to be helpful and go out of their way to assist others; consistently polite
- Love the great outdoors. Rain, wind, snow and blazing hot sun mean nothing.
- Good with numbers and can handle cash and other basic numerical calculations quickly and accurately.
- Look out for their safety and the safety of others.
- Values integrity and honesty; someone to admire and emulate.
- Know their way around under the hood of a car is also helpful, but not essential - we train for this.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Besides working with the best group of teammates and serving fantastic customers, you will be dispensing fuel, washing windows, checking vehicle fluid levels, cleaning, and stocking the convenience store, and generally ensuring our customers are taken care of and the location is clean and safe. We’ll also train and develop you for Shift Supervisor, Assistant Manager, and Site Manager opportunities if you are looking for advancement!
