Full Stack Developer

Psychometrics Canada is seeking a full-time developer to join our dynamic organization. We provide business, education and government organizations around the world with online psychometric assessment tools for organizational development and personnel selection. Our culture is collaborative and employee focused. While we are located in Edmonton, this position is flexible – allowing for remote/work-from-home or in-office based on your preferences.

The successful candidate will be involved in the design, construction and maintenance of new and existing software. The current system runs as a Struts-based web application on Apache Tomcat with a MySQL database. This system is hosted on several Linux servers. Since our system is intended for external clients with varying degrees of computer savvy, usability is of paramount importance.

We are looking for a versatile developer who is comfortable assuming several roles. Depending on the candidate’s areas of experience and interest, there may be additional duties in the areas of database and system administration. The position requires a B.Sc. in computer science or a diploma in computer system technology. Equivalent work experience may also be considered.
