Vantree Systems, a leading Canadian EDI & API data integrator, is looking for a helpful, motivated & empathetic candidate who is willing to learn, solve problems, and excel with an experienced diverse team to continue to support North American manufacturers and distributors in their digital transformation objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications and services using the .NET framework (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, etc.).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and UI/UX designers, to gather and translate requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
• Design and implement responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and front-end frameworks such as Blazor
• Implement and maintain back-end services, databases, and APIs, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.
• Lead data integration efforts, including designing and implementing data pipelines, ETL processes, and data synchronization between systems.
• Work with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server) for data storage and retrieval.
• Integrate third-party APIs and libraries when necessary to enhance application functionality and data connectivity.
• Debug, test, and troubleshoot software defects, performance issues, and data integration problems to ensure high quality and reliability.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, efficiency, and data transfer.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging Microsoft technologies, data integration techniques, and industry best practices, sharing knowledge with the team.
• Collaborate with other developers and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
• Willing to learn other back-end programming technologies to support company initiatives
• Provide technical support and resolve issues reported by users or stakeholders.
• Contribute to the planning and execution of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Skills:

• Strong experience in C-Sharp, Java, Javascript, CSS, Blazor, ASP.Net (must)
• Proficiency with database systems such as SQL Server, MySQL and TSQL (must)
• IIS (must)
• Strong experience with API and Webservices development (must)
• Experience with Azure (must)
• Experience with TFS / DevOps Source Control (must)
• Solid understanding of software development principles and best practices. (must)
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. (must)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. (must)
• Amazon webservices experience (nice to have)
• ERP integration experience (nice to have)
• Writing communication protocols (nice to have)
• MSMQ (nice to have)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $88,344.00-$94,732.00 per year
