Full-Time Boom Truck Driver - Fall River

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a reliable and motivated Boom Truck Driver to join our dedicated team! As a Boom Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and efficient deliveries of goods to our valued customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create a great customer experience by offering outstanding customer service throughout the delivery process.

• Work with support, service, and operations staff to ensure that the customer receives the best experience possible.

• Follow all Safety precautions when operating company vehicles and loading/unloading freight. Always work in a safe manner in accordance with Provincial and Federal Safety Legislation. Report any potential hazards and unsafe behavior to management.

• Move heavy or bulky merchandise for customers and sales personnel. Including loading/unloading merchandise and materials.

• Maintain clean and orderly delivery vehicles. Perform light maintenance (checking oil, etc.) and maintain maintenance records.

• Unloading and receiving of inbound inventory with accuracy and care. Advise supervisor of shortages or damaged goods.

• Accurate execution of deliveries by verifying delivery documents.

• Follow company procedures regarding signatures, forms, receipts, etc.

REQUIREMENTS

• Outgoing personality with good customer service skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

• Physically able to move merchandise weighing up to 100 pounds to and from company vehicles in the delivery process. Physio assessment will be completed.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business demand.

• Technical aptitude and ability to use tools properly.

• Clean driving record.

• Previous delivery/Boom Truck experience.

• Ability to work co-operatively in a team environment.
