We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian/Janitor to join our team and contribute to our mission of creating brighter, cleaner spaces.

Responsibilities:

As a Custodian/Janitor at Brighter Days Commercial Cleaning, you will be responsible for:

• Performing routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing various surfaces.
• Emptying trash bins and replacing liners.
• Cleaning and restocking restrooms and breakrooms.
• Maintaining and organizing cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Performing light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and reporting any maintenance issues.
• Ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed to high standards and in a timely manner.
• Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Communicating effectively with clients and team members to address any specific cleaning requirements.

Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently.
• Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
