Full-Time Generalist Teacher
at
Cleardale Colony School, Worsley, Alberta
Cleardale is a small farming community in the Peace River Country close to the banks of the Peace River. The community is approximately 200 km from Grande Prairie and 80 km from Fort St. John, British Columbia. Cleardale Colony Hutterite School serves students in grades 1-9.
One Full-Time (1.00 f.t.e.) Generalist Teacher is required to commence at the start of the 2024-2025 school year. The initial assignment will include numeracy instruction for students in Grades 1 thru 9.
Qualifications :
Experience and/or knowledge of multi-grade instruction practices
Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and educational assistants to ensure student success
Proven ability to differentiate lessons and assessment to support students’ achievement
Requirements:
Must hold or be eligible for a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
Provide an acceptable current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
Provide an acceptable current Children's Services Intervention Record Check (applicants within Alberta)

Strong classroom management skills
Excellent communication skills with students, staff and parents
Ability to contribute to a positive, safe and caring learning environment
An understanding of Hutterian community and culture
Previous experience teaching at a Hutterite Colony or in other multi-grade classroom situations is an asset. Division housing may be available for Cleardale Colony staff.

Annual Salary Range:
$ 62, 702 to $ 105, 996 (dependent on experience and education in accordance with the collective agreement between the Alberta Teachers’ Association and the Peace River School Division).
