Full Time Junior Kindergarten Aide (Education Assistant)

Joan of Arc Academy is currently seeking applications from passionate, dedicated and engaging educators who understand the education of girls. We are looking for a Full-time Junior Kindergarten Aide to work with a Full Time teacher in the classroom for the 2024-2025 school year. Staff at Joan of Arc Academy are instrumental in helping the girls achieve their highest academic performance. In addition to providing an excellent bilingual education to our girls, they encourage polite and respectful behaviour from the students. These teachings help to foster a considerate and caring community at school. The school is made up of 142 students.

The Junior and Senior Kindergarten curriculum is taught entirely in French, with the exception of math in Senior Kindergarten. The children’s bilingualism progresses with amazing speed and their linguistic skills blossom. Qualified, professional, creative teachers work hard to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our youngest students as they learn to read, write and speak in French. Our students learn and grow in a personal and nurturing environment.

Role: Full-time Junior Kindergarten Aide (Education Assistant)

Start date: 2024-2025 School Year

Setting: Working with a Full Time teacher in the classroom

Class size: 16 students maximum class size

Hours: 8:30am-4pm

Requirements:

• ECE degree minimum education
• 1 Year experience
• You must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident in order to apply.

Pay

Dependent on experience $20-$25 /hour
