Location: Hybrid / based out of Port Coquitlam and Maple Ridge with some ability to work from home.
Full-time schedule: Monday - Friday (start times can be somewhat flexible with hours and days of work to be determined).
This position is full-time permanent depending on the needs of our company and the employee’s suitability after a probationary period. Benefits available after probationary period if employment becomes permanent.
Job Description:
Assist our team with storage facility management, clerical duties; and perform physical tasks when required relating to various assignments as needed.
Storage Facility Duties:
- ability to lift/carry boxes of up to 10-40 lbs to and from shelves
- basic knowledge and experience with using battery operated hand power tools (building crates etc.)
- managing storage facility
- cataloging inventory
- data entry
- ordering/maintaining package materials
- follow-up with clients regarding disposal and invoicing
- delivery of evidence to locker, clients and laboratories for testing
- transporting and disposing of evidence at waste facilities
- light janitorial
- physically able and willing to assist, if required, with labour tasks on job sites
Clerical Duties:
- setting up new files, communicating with clients
- requesting reports from fire departments
- invoicing clients
- experience using Excel, Word, Outlook and willing to learn new software as required
- proofing reports (extensive grammar skills and fluency in English is mandatory)
- scheduling and emailing management
Requirements:
- excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluent in English
- experienced using Excel, Word, Outlook and Apple systems
- Business Administration Certificate preferred, but not required if have past administration experience
- typing skills of 40 wpm minimum
- stable work history with good attendance (references will be required)
- willingness to be trained and follow direction
- dependable, positive disposition
- exhibits flexibility and adaptability
- maintains a clean and safe work environment
- self-motivated, detail oriented, reliable, takes pride in fulfilling work assignments correctly and on time
- ability to work independently (references will be required)
- report writing: 1 year (preferred)
- inventory management: 1 year (preferred)
- valid class 5 drivers’ license with no restrictions
- usage of own cell phone
- usage of own vehicle required at times (mileage to be reimbursed), company vehicle available for larger transport of items

Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
