Responsibilities:
- Build and repair structures using bricks, concrete blocks, and natural stones.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout and dimensions of the structure.
- Renovate and restore existing structures, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic appeal.
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment to mix mortar, cut bricks, and transport materials.
- Lay bricks in a variety of patterns, ensuring proper alignment and levelness.
- Use hand tools to shape and trim bricks as needed.
- Apply caulking and other sealants to ensure weatherproofing of structures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a brick layer/mason.
- Proficiency in masonry techniques and practices.
- Familiarity with different types of bricks, stones, and concrete blocks.
- Knowledge of proper mortar mixing ratios and application techniques.
- Experience operating power tools and heavy equipment used in masonry work.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods of time.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
