We are looking for a Retail Sales Associate for our Belleville store location.
Job Summary
A Retail Sales Associate will be responsible to greet and assist customers with fast and friendly service. Work with customers throughout their experience in our store from greeting to final sale. Associates will work throughout all store departments under their supervisors direction. A Retail Sales Associate will be responsible for specific store department(s) ordering/stocking/cleaning etc.
Experience and expertise in various building materials would be seen as a valuable asset.
Current hours of operation are:
Monday through Friday 7:30am - 5pm
Saturday 8am - 12pm
Job Duties/Requirements (Other Duties as Required)
- Build lasting relationships with customers, suggest new merchandise and remind them of upcoming in-store events.
- Greet customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of merchandise or services required.
- Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge
- Re-order and re-fill inventory on store shelves, ensure satisfactory inventory levels of product.
- Assist with inventory management.
- Participate in merchandising and promotional activities
- Ensure store conditions are consistently upheld to established standards.
- Ability to multi-task and learn quickly
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment
- Proficiency with computers and ability to adapt to new technology
- Ability to work individually as well as part of a team
- High level of integrity and work ethic
- Detail oriented
- Attend both product and safety training sessions provided
