We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Fundraising Coordinator to join our team. The Fundraising Coordinator will play a crucial role in generating financial support for our organization's initiatives and programs. This is a 12-month contract position with the possibility of full-time employment at the end of the contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies to meet organizational goals and objectives.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors, and community partners.
- Plan and execute fundraising campaigns, including donor stewardship activities.
- Conduct prospect research to identify potential funding opportunities and partnerships.
- Prepare grant proposals, sponsorship packages, and other fundraising materials.
- Collaborate with the communications team to create compelling fundraising content for online and offline channels.
- Monitor and evaluate fundraising performance, track progress toward goals, and provide regular reports to the management team.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in fundraising or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in fundraising, sales, or related fields, preferably within the non-profit sector.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and collaborative approach.
- Knowledge of fundraising best practices, donor cultivation strategies, and grant writing techniques.
- CFRE certification is an asset.
- Current CPIC required
