SalaryOliver’s Funeral Home and Crematorium is seeking part-time, casual Funeral Attendants for our fast-growing funeral home and crematorium in Grande Prairie, Alberta. Successful candidates should be self-motivated, reliable, flexible, caring, compassionate, and work well individually or in a team environment.
Job Description:
- Represent the funeral home and provide a consistent image of professionalism and compassion at all times and with all people.
- Assist with preparing and setting up for funerals.
- Assist the director in charge with ushering and conducting the funeral services.
- Drive funeral vehicles as required for funeral services.
- Clean and organize the facility and equipment following funeral services.
- Transferring deceased from the place of death (hospitals, nursing homes, residences, etc.)
- Part of our on-call rotations
- Day, evening and weekend shifts
- Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean criminal record check
No experience is required.
