SalaryCentral Funeral Homes is looking for a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer to join our Grand Falls-Windsor team! We are a dedicated, closely-knit team that share a mutual respect and compassion for the families we serve.
As a Funeral Director and Embalmer, you'll play a crucial role in helping families during their time of loss. You'll be responsible for arranging and coordinating all aspects of funeral services, including meeting with grieving families to discuss their wishes, preparing the deceased for burial, aquamation, or cremation, and managing the logistics of the funeral service.
You'll also need to have strong communication and organizational skills, as you'll be working closely with families, clergy, and other professionals to ensure that all arrangements are carried out smoothly and respectfully.
Additionally, as an embalmer, you'll be trained in the art and science of preparing the deceased for burial or viewing including embalming, cosmetics, dressing and casketing.
