!JOB DESCRIPTION:

A Sales Associate is responsible for selling couch 9 products at the retail store . They will be trained in all aspects of the business, including product knowledge, retail selling, inventory management, and customer service. This position requires a high level of energy, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Tasks

• Operate cash register
• Operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems
• Provide advice about merchandise
• Assist in display of merchandise
• Conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce
• Greet customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase.
• Maintain sales records for inventory control
• Prepare merchandise for purchase.
• Prepare sales invoice and accept cash, cheque, credit card or automatic debit payment

• Welcome customers as they enter the store and answer their questions regarding couch 9 products

Maintain cleanliness of store and store grounds during any given day; include store cleaning. Ensure product information is visible to customers. Maintain proper stock levels in store during slow days to allow for effective display placement; ensure display levels are maintained at all times Maintain regular store cleaning schedule (e.g., vacuuming, sweeping) as required; include store cleaning at least Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (with exception for major holidays)Assist with general merchandising tasks such as building displays or changing lightbulbs; Must be able to lift 50 pounds without assistance.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $15.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
