We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Seasonal Garden Centre Sales Associates. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with plant selection, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the Garden Centre and processing transactions accurately.
Responsibilities:
Assist customers in selecting plants, flowers, and gardening supplied based on their needs and preferences
Provide expert advice on plant care, gardening techniques and landscaping ideas
Maintain a clean and organized Garden Centre by watering plants, sweeping walkways, and restocking shelves
Operate cash registers and accurately process sales transaction
Answer customer inquiries in person and over the phone.
Collaborate with team members to create visually appealing displays and promotional signage
Assist with receiving and stocking inventory shipments
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications:
Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
Knowledge of plants, gardening and landscaping is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
Willingness to work weekends
Physical demands:
Ability to lift product up to 50lbs
