General and Cosmetic Merchandiser

Responsibilities include:

• Building cosmetic walls and displays using planograms
• Set up and maintain product displays in retail stores
• Arrange merchandise according to planograms and visual guidelines
• Planogram maintenance and compliance
• Conduct regular store visits to assess display quality and make necessary adjustments
• The execution of merchandising requests
• Semi-annual resets
• New store renovations
• Retail data audits

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a cosmetic or grocery merchandiser or in a related field preferred
• Be able to read and follow planograms and assemble store fixtures and displays
• Be organized, detail oriented and possess excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Have excellent time management skills and a commitment to meeting tight deadlines
• Have daily Internet access and ability to text and email photos.
• Have a smart phone with the ability to add and learn to use company apps

Hours:

Note: We work project to project in retail and grocery stores.

• You make your own schedule /appointments with stores.
• We usually have 2-3 weeks to complete each project

Due to the nature of the merchandising industry this can be a sporadic position. Most of the time merchandisers are working on multiple clients throughout the month.

Our busiest times of the year fall into January-March and July-October.

Training: Client Specific Hands on Training provided

Environment - Physical work in a retail store environment

Compensation - Hourly wage plus mileage'

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $16.75-$20.00 per hour
