Tasks include
- Loading unloading material from deliveries (heavy lifting)
- Moving and organizing material to and from work locations
- Assisting trades with permanent material install
- Must be physically fit and able to climb many stairs per day
- Any trade experience (Asset)
- AWP and Fall protection (Asset)
- Cleaning
- Use of power tools
- Willing to wear respirator/fit test
Job Description
The Labourer position is located at our Site C Dam site. A Labourer’s first responsibility is to perform duties in a safe and effective manner at all times, when using hand-tools, loading/unloading and delivery of supplies and materials, office and storage cleanup, assisting crews in field, errands to town, and any general duties that involve basic labour.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- 1-2 years experience preferred
- Valid Driver’s License & reliable transportation (CLEAN abstract required)
- Capable of working with minimal supervision
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Construction industry qualifications and certifications including First Aid, mobile equipment, fall arrest, WHMIS would be an asset, not mandatory
