Tasks include

• Loading unloading material from deliveries (heavy lifting)
• Moving and organizing material to and from work locations
• Assisting trades with permanent material install
• Must be physically fit and able to climb many stairs per day
• Any trade experience (Asset)
• AWP and Fall protection (Asset)
• Cleaning
• Use of power tools
• Willing to wear respirator/fit test

Job Description

The Labourer position is located at our Site C Dam site. A Labourer’s first responsibility is to perform duties in a safe and effective manner at all times, when using hand-tools, loading/unloading and delivery of supplies and materials, office and storage cleanup, assisting crews in field, errands to town, and any general duties that involve basic labour.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• 1-2 years experience preferred
• Valid Driver’s License & reliable transportation (CLEAN abstract required)
• Capable of working with minimal supervision
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Construction industry qualifications and certifications including First Aid, mobile equipment, fall arrest, WHMIS would be an asset, not mandatory

Salary: From $22.00 per hour

• French not required

• 10 hour shift
