Responsibilities:

- Perform general maintenance and repairs in residential and commercial properties

- Conduct routine inspections to identify any issues or areas in need of repair

- Repair or replace broken fixtures, appliances, or equipment

- Install or assemble furniture, fixtures, and other items as needed

- Paint walls, ceilings, and other surfaces

- Handle basic plumbing and electrical tasks

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area

Experience:

- Proven experience as a maintenance person or in a similar role

- Strong knowledge of various repair and maintenance techniques

- Proficient in using hand and power tools

- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings

- Excellent problem-solving skills

- Good communication and customer service skills

Note: A valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required

I am looking for a Handyman for general maintenance, cleaning and light renovation work associated with properties in Leamington, Wheatley, Tilbury and Windsor. General responsibilities can include yard maintenance, minor plumbing and electrical work (replacing plumbing and electrical fixtures), drywall repairs, flooring, painting and cleaning. This role can included general repair and maintenance as well as prepping units between tenants which could include old floor tear-outs and replacement with vinyl or tile.

Rental accommodations for this role are presently available in either Wheatley or Tilbury if required. Applicant should have their own transportation as well as basic tools. Will train the right candicate that has basic skills and is willing to learn.
