Homestar Inc. is seeking a General Laborer to join our dynamic team. Must be mechanically inclined and willing to work long hours
Responsibilities:
- Assist carpenters and other skilled labor when necessary.
- Prep sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
- Load or unload construction materials.
- Put together and take apart temporary structures
- Grind, scrape, sand, or polish surfaces
- Load, unload, and identify building materials, machinery, and tools and distribute them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans and specifications.
- Follow instructions from lead hands and project managers.
- Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary.
- Gutters and fascia installation
- Line painter
- Carry out additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
- Driver’s licence and Driver's Abstract
- Criminal Clearance
- Able to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions
- Willing to work long hours
- Physical strength, hand-eye coordination, and endurance
- Able to work independently and as a team
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Steel toed safety boots (CSA approved)

- Reliable and punctual
