JOB SUMMARY:
As a General Laborer at Rotating Right, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process of industrial pump systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks to support the production team, ensuring the efficient and timely assembly of our products. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
RESPONSIBILITY:
1. Assembly and Sub-assembly: Work with a team to assemble and sub-assemble components of industrial pump systems according to established guidelines and specifications.
2. Material Handling: Safely handle and transport materials, parts, and components within the manufacturing facility using appropriate tools and equipment.
3. Quality Control: Conduct visual inspections of assembled components to ensure they meet quality standards. Report any defects or issues to supervisors.
4. Machine Operation: Operate machinery and equipment as needed for the manufacturing process. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
5. Packaging and Labeling: Assist in the packaging and labeling of finished products, preparing them for shipment. Ensure proper documentation and labeling accuracy.
6. Maintain Cleanliness: Keep work areas clean and organized, following 5S principles to enhance efficiency and safety.
7. Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure a smooth workflow and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
8. Adherence to Safety Standards: Strictly adhere to all safety protocols, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and participating in safety training programs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools.
- Team player with good communication skills.
