General Labourer

Looking for a challenging and rewarding seasonal job opportunity? Aurora Construction wants you to join our team as a labourer on our bridge demolition/repair and guiderail projects this summer.

Responsibilities for labourers will include:

- Assist with the demolition of bridges, including removing concrete, steel, and other materials

-Building/maintaining/removing falsework for bridge formwork and containment systems

- Help with the installation of guiderails

- Loading and unloading materials

- Cleaning up job sites and ensuring safety protocols are followed

- Highway driving 1-ton pickup trucks

- Securing and transporting materials and equipment

Requirements for labourers include:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Ability to lift 70lbs and work in a physically demanding environment

- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions

- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

- Must be able to work out of town

- Clean drivers abstract and valid class 5 license or higher
