General Labourer

Job Posting: General Labour at Mega Rebar

Mega Rebar, a newly established rebar fabricator and distributor situated in Maple Ridge, BC, is actively seeking motivated and safety-conscious individuals to join our team as a General Labourer. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity that offers competitive compensation and benefits. Our brand-new facility is equipped with top-of-the-line equipment.

Core Duties:

· Operate and maintain equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner.

· Assemble and load orders onto trailers for shipping.

· Maintain the shop/designated area in a clean and safe manner.

· Work effectively as part of a team to ensure productivity and efficiency.

· Continuously improve skills and knowledge related to the job.

· Other duties as assigned or required.

Work Conditions:

· Work in a covered environment.

· Highly repetitive tasks.

· Heavy lifting required.

· Overtime hours may be required to meet operational demands.

· Must be flexible to work early mornings and late evenings.

Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements:

· Must have basic math skills to calculate bar measurements.

· Must be able to read a measuring tape.

· Ability to lift and maneuver without physical restrictions.

· Ability and willingness to follow directions, as well as the ability to work independently.

· Good understanding of customer service for both internal and external customers.

· Ability to follow safety standards and requirements, including the use of personal protective equipment (Steel-toe work boots, gloves, helmets, hearing protection, safety glasses, etc.).
