General Labourer

A B Laboratories is a Licensed Producer of cannabis located in Ancaster, ON. We have been licensed since 2016 and operate out of two indoor production facilities on site. We harvest every week of the year, and our focus is producing excellent dried flower primarily to supply the Canadian recreational market. We currently are a team of roughly 30 people, and are looking to expand our team with a couple of more individuals as we continue to grow.

We are seeking dedicated, hard working people who have a positive attitude and and are adaptive/versatile learners to work full-time to help support our production team and grow with us.

The primary responsibilities of this position will include:

• Performing various sanitation tasks throughout the facility on a regular basis, including pressure washing, surface sanitation, mopping/sweeping, etc.
• Supporting production room "flips" by transporting equipment (tables, reservoirs, pumps etc) to the dedicated sanitation area and back
• Taking apart and performing maintenance upkeep and sanitation on equipment such as harvesting machinery, packaging machinery, etc.
• Maintain record keeping documents
• Using dedicated machinery or hand trimming to harvest cannabis product, using dedicated machinery to process cannabis product
• Participating in packaging and labeling procedures
• Becoming familiarized and performing procedures related to cultivation, harvesting, packaging and handling of cannabis
• Additional duties as assigned

Experience/Qualities/Education:

• No specific education required
• Great attention to detail when performing all tasks
• Motivation, positive attitude, and dedication
• Works well in a team environment
• Comfortable doing a variety of tasks / variation in day-to-day activity
• Comfortable with and capable of performing physical work including lifting heavy objects, pushing and pulling, etc.

*This position subjects you to strong cannabis odors, loud noises, standing or sitting for long periods of time, lifting, pulling/pushing, leaning/bending down, bright light, and humidity.

Hours:

• 7:30am-3:30pm, Monday - Thursday
