Crazy Creek Hot Pools Resort is seeking a General Manager who embodies the gift of hospitality. Our resort, known for its warm, family-friendly atmosphere, features cozy cabins, relaxing hot pools, and RV sites. We are poised for growth and are seeking a leader who not only excels in operations but also has a genuine love for creating exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee the daily operations of the resort, ensuring that all areas function seamlessly - from accommodations and guest services to maintenance and housekeeping.
· Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance efficiency, service quality, and guest satisfaction.
· Lead, motivate, and scale our team in alignment with the resort's growth, maintaining a culture of hospitality and teamwork.
· Foster an environment where families and friends can forge lasting relationships and enjoy meaningful experiences.
· Manage budgeting, financial planning, and cost control to ensure the profitability and sustainable growth of the resort.
· Address guest feedback with empathy and efficiency, ensuring all visitors leave with positive impressions and the desire to return.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role in the hospitality industry, preferably in resort or hotel management.
· A natural flair for hospitality and a genuine desire to create welcoming, enjoyable environments for guests.
· Strong operational skills, with a track record of developing and implementing effective SOPs.
· Experience in scaling and leading teams, with a focus on fostering a collaborative and motivated workplace.
· Prior experience or knowledge in the food and beverage sector is highly advantageous.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with both staff and guests.
· Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
· We are looking at adding a restaurant - experience with F&B an asset.
