In the context of this large-scale project, we are seeking an unrivalled leader who will assume the role of a Lifetime and guide an elite team of approximately 100 people. Your mission? Leading a mining Project of epic proportions with your exceptional knowledge of bulk shipping (e.g., liquids, sediments, cement, and more), and your eye for the most recent market trends. You will have the flexibility to either move to Ontario or to Abitibi or travel during the week and return home on the weekends: both options are possible thanks to the company’s financial support.

The Hero’s Duties: Visionary Leadership

• Leading this saga as General Manager and establishing solid relationships with key actors to ensure successful operations.
• Keeping a watchful eye on mining market trends and regulations to develop an efficient strategy.
• Resolving operational issues quickly to avoid disruptions.
• Ensuring meticulous vehicle maintenance and overseeing the purchasing of new equipment to support growth.
• Collaborating with the Finance Department to establish and manage budgets.
• Managing human resources, from recruitment to training and performance assessments.
• Building solid teams and inspiring them to reach inspiring collective goals.
• Modelling proper adherence to the industry’s occupational health and safety standards.
• Performing any other tasks that will maximize this large-scale expansion project’s success.
