We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to join our team. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our operations, ensuring exceptional member service, including supporting the member board of directors. If you have a background in working with cooperatives and/or not for profits, excellent leadership skills, and a solid back ground in finance, human resource management and a passion for delivering outstanding service, we want to hear from you.
```Responsibilities```
- Manage day-to-day operations of the cooperative, including supervising staff, ensuring quality financial operation and service, and maintaining a clean and safe environment
- Develop and implement strategies to move the organization forward
- Hire and mentor employees
- Excellent knowledge of accommodation development and management
- Manage and develop information services
- Manage member concerns and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Develop and monitor annual budget
- Manage the accommodation and food services operations

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proven experience in cooperatives and/or not for profits.
- Proficient in budgeting procedures and financial management
- Excellent understanding of Board function
- Ability to interview, hire, train, and develop employees
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions
- Knowledge of food operations, and safety regulations
