GENERAL OPERATIONS SUPPORT

General Summary
We are currently looking to hire a General Operations Support (GOS) worker to begin their career in the Aerospace industry. If you are good with your hands and have a curious mindset, this is a great place to develop yourself.

Primary Responsibilities

• Ability to manufacture shipping crates, cabinets, and tube carts and be able to perform general woodworking and general maintenance for the facility.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs as required.
• Must be able to carry out the basics of drywall repair and painting as required.
• General Labour duties as assigned by Chargehand.
• Some Janitorial functions.
• Supplies pickup and stocking.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent technical training required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a carpenter, or “other hands-on experience“
• Preferably in a manufacturing facility.
• Must have previous woodworking tool experience with hand tools such as saws, routers, drills.
• Must be good with measurements and proficient in Shop math.
• Crane and forklift certification required.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• High attention to detail, organized and is able to multi-task.
• A successful candidate must be willing to undergo CGP & ITAR security clearance
• Must be vaccinated against Covid-19.

Salary: $24.45-$31.26 per hour
