General/Skilled Labourer

Work Location: Generally based in Calgary, some overnight work throughout Western Canada, Potential project work throughout North America.

Term: Permanent, full time

Wage: $27.00-$30.00/hr to start. Review after 3-month probation is completed. Living Allowance paid out of town. CEMATRIX supplies trucks and flights as required.

CEMATRIX is in the business of producing cellular concrete on site from mobile processing units, using proprietary technologies.

The candidate does not require prior experience with cellular concrete, though a general construction background is considered an asset. We are looking for individuals who possess leadership skills and will be capable of assuming a role of responsibility after training is complete. We promote from within our company and are looking for people who can operate equipment and have the ability to foreman a project. Successful candidates will be capable of:

Ability to travel to multiple worksites.

• Willing to perform physically demanding work (must be able to lift up to 50 pounds)
• Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test (annually thereafter – more frequently if our clients should require pre-access testing to work on their sites)
• Be safety orientated
• Demonstrated ability to adjust to work-related demands
• Be willing to work in the field as a crew member with the potential to progress if you demonstrate required skills.
• Being able to work extended hours on site as well as shift work when required.
• Requirements:

Required license or certification:

• Class 5 Driver's License is mandatory, however Q Endorsement Class 3 Drivers (or higher) are considered an asset.
• Required education:
• High school or equivalent
• Candidates with post-secondary education and/or technical background will be given preference
