At CartoVista, we stand at the forefront of cloud innovation, flourishing in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment rich with opportunities for those driven by the thrill of new challenges. Central to our mission is the empowerment of businesses through the enhanced understanding and visualization of geographic data, which opens the door to more strategic and well-informed operational decisions.

Embracing this culture of innovation, we are delighted to announce an exceptional opportunity for a skilled and ambitious professional with a keen interest in Geographic Information System (GIS) technologies and cloud solutions. As we aim to expand the reach and capabilities of our services and platform, we're in search of someone who shares our passion for deploying state-of-the-art GIS technologies to develop comprehensive, strategic solutions for our clientele. Joining our team means positioning yourself at the leading edge of operational excellence and strategic decision-making in a variety of sectors.

In your role, you will provide expert GIS consulting services and lead projects that address our clients' distinct challenges through our advanced software solutions. You will be responsible for improving the cartographic and data integrity of web maps, making certain that our clients have access to the most sophisticated GIS technology available. Moreover, you'll employ the CartoVista platform to create bespoke, innovative web maps designed to meet specific client needs.

This role is a unique chance to become a vital member of our bilingual team, based in the Ottawa-Gatineau area, to dive into the latest GIS technologies, and to play a part in crafting award-winning story maps.

We are looking for a candidate with a broad range of skills, from precise data management to creating top-notch cartography. Should you have a solid background in GIS software (like ESRI ArcGIS, QGIS, FME, among others) and possess outstanding project management and interpersonal skills, you could be the perfect fit for this role.

If you have a passion for GIS and wish to significantly impact a company at the forefront of technology, CartoVista warmly invites you to join our team. Together, we aim to redefine how businesses and organizations maximize the cloud to harness their geographic data.
