Job description

We are looking for a Global Product Advisor (Can-Am Offroad) who will report to the Product Support Team Lead, and who’ll be tasked with helping us find and provide technical service solutions for our dealers and customers. As part of your role, you’ll be significantly contributing to the organization's growth. You’ll be at the forefront of delivering outstanding service to BRP’s customers.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Provide Global product support to our Dealer/Distributor Network for technical concerns to ensure consistent alignment of our brand promise and actual product and support performance.
  • Provide technical solutions to dealership technicians and support other departments such as the warranty and customer care teams.
  • Guide dealers on best practices related to BRP policy, processes, and guidelines.
  • Proactively support and coach our partners and dealer network with regards to technical support and dealer inquiries all while building and maintaining our dealer relationship.
  • Support and identify communication needs and resolve product-related problems to improve future products.
  • Highlight issues quickly, identifying and escalating emerging issues or trends and representing your sector in order to continuously and proactively improve and optimize our support services.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

  • A technical degree or relevant experience in powersports, automotive, marine, or small engine mechanics.
  • At least 2 years of relevant mechanical experience in a powersports dealership or in a similar environment with solid technical competency.
  • Ability to communicate in English with dealers outside of Quebec on a daily basis with additional fluency in French preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with a thorough understanding of electrical and mechanical theory. The ability to navigate and understand electrical wiring diagrams, schematics, service manuals, electronic parts catalogues, engineering drawings and bills of materials.

ASSETS

  • Knowledge of Offroad vehicles specifically would be considered a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; the ability to articulate thoughts, ideas, and technical terminology.
  • Additional language fluency would be considered a plus.
