POSITION: Outside Service Attendant
JOB SUMMARY: The primary focus of the Outside Services Attendant is to ensure the department standards are adhered to on a daily bases with guest satisfaction a key factor in all interactions.
ACCOUNTABILITIES: The Outside Services Attendant will ensure that all equipment is being delivered to and received from our guests in good repair and maintained at an appropriate level.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
· Knowledge of Golf
· Customer service skill and/or retail sales experience
· Experience in hotel or related trade preferred.
TOOLS & EQUIPMENT:
· Power carts, range machine and picker, ball washer, golf clubs, shuttle van.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Long hours sometimes required.
· Very Heavy work – Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
· Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
· Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary.

· Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests.
· Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data, and basic arithmetic functions.
DUTIES & FUNCTIONS
ESSENTIAL:
· Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service oriented manner.
· Ensure all equipment and all work areas are cleaned and maintained to high standards, and all equipment is in good, safe, working conditions
· Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the power cart fleet, and maintain a tracking system including usage, maintenance and proper rotation
· Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the range machine, picker and ball washer
· Ensure the rental club sets are maintained in proper working order, cleaned and accounted for
· Ensure the golf shuttle is operated, maintained and tracked according to established policies and procedures
· Ensure the arrival/departure area is kept clean, stocked to par levels and live a culture of guest name usage and up-selling
· Ensure the driving range is properly set up and stocked during operating hours, and completely picked of balls
· Ensure the club storage area is kept clean, organized and uncluttered and that the member’s clubs are retrieved, returned and cleaned appropriately
· Ensure all guests are equally cared for while assisting them to get organized for their round of golf
· Ensure all information on the golf facilities and services, hotel facilities and services and the town are available
· Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper business attire and nametag when working.

Salary: $14.75 per hour

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed
