Golf Shop Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Golf Shop Manager to oversee our Golf Shop operations. The ideal candidate will embody the spirit of Phantom Lake, bringing passion, expertise, and a knack for retail and event management to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of the pro shop, ensuring a high standard of customer service and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate and lead event planning for both club based and customer driven golf and social events at our facilities.
• Develop and implement strategies to drive sales, including merchandising, inventory management, and promotional activities.
• Hire, train, and lead a team of shop assistants, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
• Coordinate closely with other departments to enhance the overall guest experience.
• Manage budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting for the pro shop.
• Stay abreast of trends in golf equipment and apparel to ensure our offerings meet the needs of our clientele.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a golf or sporting goods environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of golf, including equipment and apparel trends.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
