Grain Handler/Warehouse Worker

Responsibilities:

As a Grain Handler/Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for:

· Operating, maintaining, repairing, and cleaning a variety of grain handling and processing equipment.

· Bagging and palletizing grain and seed products efficiently and accurately.

· Operating forklifts to load and unload freight and bulk trailers.

· Following written instructions, weights, and measures for precise handling and processing.

· Ensuring quality control standards are met at all times.

· Occasionally working at heights when necessary.

· Lifting loads up to 30 kilograms safely and efficiently.

· Utilizing your experience with machinery, especially from farm work, to excel in the role.

· Will be required to work every other Saturday and some evening and extra Saturdays during harvest.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

· Strong comprehension of written instructions and attention to detail.

· Experience with machinery operation, particularly in a farm setting, is a strong asset.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.

· A commitment to maintaining a safe and clean workplace.

· Reliability and punctuality are crucial.

· Must have your own reliable transportation.

· Steel-toe safety boots are required for this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
