STATUS: Full Time

REPORTS TO: Creative Marketing Manager

About the Position

As a key member of the Marketing Team, the Graphic Content Project Manager is a skilled Project Manager with unparalleled time management skills, with the ability to simultaneously juggle competing priorities and multiple projects. The incumbent is a critical thinker with a strong creative background who can navigate through different design streams ranging from packaging and way-finding signage. They possess a deep understanding of digital marketing as well as contemporary design principles and branding, recognizing the significance of delivering concise, bold and cohesive brand messaging.

Responsibilities:

The Graphic Content Project Manager key responsibilities are:

  • The management of end-to-end content and graphic projects.
  • The identification and engagement of key stakeholders, project sponsors, and resources
  • To ensure consistent adherence to time, cost and scope while delivering exception service
  • The management of effective verbal and written communication to all stakeholders ensuring the team understands tasks, deadlines, expectations, and responsibilities.
  • The updating and management of all asset requests utilizing our project management system (Monday) ensuring status updates.
  • Proactively investigate content and asset requests to provide optimal solutions.
  • Prepare and coordinate all assets required for product launches.
  • The conceptualization of content and assets ideas
  • The development of effective and on-brand design solutions for a variety of media supports.
  • Participation of multidisciplinary campaigns – from idea to execution
  • The coordination of photography and video production schedule
  • Proof-reading and editing of content and graphic pieces.
  • The building of an editorial calendar
  • The management of vendor communications
  • The identification of new content opportunities
  • The organization and updating of graphic and video assets in an accurate manner ensuring clear naming and categorization according to a standard system.

Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in Project Management, including multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Specific experience creating and designing print campaign collateral pieces such as brochures, banners, and in-store signage.
  • Successful completion of a relevant post-secondary degree or certification (significant relevant experience will be considered in lieu of education inclusive of Graphic, Multimedia and Industrial Design as well as, Digital Media)
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with clients to discuss project needs and options, to provide analysis and to interpret requirements from a design perspective.
  • Experience maintaining standards of graphic design and production values for print-based projects and coordinating transfer of existing designs to the marketing initiatives.
  • Experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Experience in Video editing, Photography and a variety of social media platforms

Interpersonal Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills in managing multiple priorities with overlapping tasks across multiple locations.
