Graphic Designer - Baby And Children Fashion

Beco Industries is currently seeking a GRAPHIC DESIGNER to join our design team. Working closely with our Product Managers, Design and merchandising teams, the Graphic Designer will be responsible for developing and illustrating original designs, prints and concepts for new product development. Your technical and creative skills combined with your trend and design strengths make you an ideal candidate for this position.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Ability to create unique baby fashion concepts by leveraging hand-drawn original prints and toy designs.

· Design and create textile prints (AOPs & Placement artworks) for multiple brands while adapting to each brand's unique DNA.

· Collaborate closely with the design team to conceptualize and execute design concepts that align with brand guidelines and market trends.

· Help create cads for comprehensive range of baby fashion items – apparels, accessories, and toys products.

· Create specifications for each print, graphic, product illustration and packaging.

· Support other designers and participate in the creation of collections of all categories on Illustrator and Photoshop.

· Produce presentation mood boards for customer meetings and internal seasonal trend direction.

Position Requirements:

· Must have a DEC in Graphic Design or Children/Baby Fashion Textile combined with minimum of 2+ years experience in related field.

· Must have acquired Children or Baby fashion experience.

· Extremely creative with a strong portfolio and experience designing textile prints.

· Must be able on emerging design trends, color palettes, and techniques relevant to the baby fashion industry.

· Excellent knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Office Suite in a Macintosh environment.

· High level of adaptability and ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, high-pressured environment.

· Excellent organizational skills, time management skills combined with the ability to take initiatives and be detailed oriented.

· Excellent ability working in teams as well as autonomously.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both English and French (both oral and written);

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $25.50-$31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
