SECTION 2: POSITION SUMMARY
The Gravel Pit Scale Attendants primary function for CANYON CITY CONSTRUCITON LP plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of a quarry by managing and documenting the weight of materials extracted and transported.
SECTION 6: PERSONAL SUITABILITY
This position requires an individual who has outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, and a strong ability to work as part of a team.
Cross cultural awareness, excellent communication skills and a friendly, personable, and diplomatic demeanor is required.
SECTION 7: QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a quarry or industrial setting.
- Knowledge of weighing equipment and scale operations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina, ability to lift heavy objects, and ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.
- Experience with technology and mobile devices is beneficial.
- Able to work flexible hours (may involve some weekend and/or overtime)
- Able to work without supervision and as a team member.
- Must be willing to learn and to adapt to changing and fast-paced work environments.
