Job Description

Our Grocery Team Members work as part of our awesome crew to provide top-notch customer service and help keep our store stoked and ready for business. This person will:

• Provide a positive customer experience with friendly, courteous and helpful customer service

• Resolve customer issues, answer questions, and provide insight into products

• Ring sales through the cash register, including scan items and produce

• Collect payment by accepting cash or charge payments from customers and making change if necessary

• Perform opening and closing duties including balancing the cash drawer

• Keep shelves full by following stocking schedule and direction of leadership team

• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations

General Requirements

You will spend your day with a small team of caring individuals, and we are looking for someone who is forward-thinking and motivated to help our store grow, develop and improve.

We are looking for someone who will bring a positive attitude and a strong work ethic every shift. Previous experience in a grocery or food service environment would be considered a plus. This position requires weekend work.

Physical Requirements

This position requires:

• Continuous standing/walking
• Lifting and carrying up to 10 kg
• Frequent turning and reaching
• Occasional pushing, pulling and forward bending
• Ability to lift at least 2.5 kg to a height of 1.7 metres

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $18.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
