Groom/Stable Hand

Overview:

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Barn Staff. As a Barn Staff member, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations and maintenance of our farm. If you have previous Equestrian farm experience and a passion for working with horses, we encourage you to apply.

Duties:

- Feeding and watering indoor and outdoor horses

- Cleaning stalls, barns, and other animal enclosures

- Assisting with the handling and grooming of animals

- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the barn area

- Preparing the grain and keeping inventory of supplies needed

-Assisting students and clients with grooming and racking up to prepare for lessons

Qualifications:

- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor on a daily basis

- Familiarity with farm machinery and equipment operation

- Experience working professionally with horses, previous Hunter/Jumper experience is preferred but not required

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Please note that this position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions.
