Groundskeeper Supervisor

Silver Birch Golf Course is one of the best kept secrets in Northern Alberta, providing a challenge for all golfers. With tree lined fairways the course provides a challenge and scenic experience for golfers of all abilities. Applicants would be responsible for the upkeeping of Silver Birch Golf course which includes 9 holes measuring 3383 yards and driving range. Applicants must have prior knowledge of golf and golf course operations as well as ability to operate grounds crew machinery and fulfill/ delegate tasks to grounds crew.

Must be:

· Willing to learn and work in team atmosphere; must be open to communication with all departments within the course

· Detailed and efficient

· Strong leader

· Adaptable to changes in course operations and schedule

Tasks included but not limited to:

· raking and regular maintenance of bunkers

· mowing of greens, tees, approaches, fairways, and rough areas

· small equipment operation (string trimmers)

· daily course set up, and pin positions

· course clean up (leaf removal, fallen tree removal, etc.)

· water and fertilizing (in accordance to greens keeping program)

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 7 months

Salary: $20-$30 per hour
