ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Responsible for the ground’s maintenance and landscaping of the property, including extensive gardening.
- Responsible for the repairs and maintenance of all community buildings and equipment.
- Providing support to residence as required, such as snow removal.
- Maintaining the pool and spa facilities.
- Responsible in maintaining all Health & Safety aspects of the Community and Community Buildings.
- Ensuring ongoing communication with Manager.
- Responsible for cleaning work area, tools and equipment.
- Responsible for courteous, efficient response at all times.
- Operate within the applicable Occupational Health & Safety legislation and company policies at all times.
- Be prepared to accept after hour calls and act on emergencies as required.
- Other duties as required.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience; Clean Driver’s Abstract and Clean background/criminal check required.
- Must be willing to take the pool certification course at the beginning of employment.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Physically fit; ability to lift, push and pull up to 25lbs frequently and up to 50lbs infrequently; ability to work at heights.
- Oral & written communication skills.
- Problem solving, critical thinking and organizational skills.
