Groundskeeper/Maintenance

Specific Duties:

• Maintain the buildings on the park including 20 roofed accommodations, an office, reck hall, maintenance building and more.
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness for our accommodations, sites and grounds.
• Maintain equipment used on the campground including multiple golf carts, tractor, skid steer and more.
• Identifying, prioritizing, delegating/completing maintenance concerns.
• Assisting customers with concerns regarding grounds and maintenance.
• Completing tasks and projects that arise around the campground.
• Assist other staff members and help foster co-operative interactions between staff.

Skills

• Vehicle maintenance
• General handyman
• Basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
• Use of power tools and small engines
• Use of tractors and similar equipment
• Communication skills
• Ability to appropriately prioritize items requiring attention
• Able to work independently and unsupervised
• Completing tasks in a timely manner
• Able to work 8 hours outdoors in any weather condition while completing physical labour

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $23.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
