Guest Experience Concierge

GUEST EXPERIENCE CONCIERGE - CALEDON (ALTON), ON

We are currently hiring individuals to join our Guest Experience team in the role of Guest Experience Concierge for our 2024 season. The concierge is the face of hospitality, offering a range of personalized services to enhance the overall experience of Guests. This role involves anticipating and fulfilling the needs and requests of our Guests, providing information, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic and a desire to work alongside others to deliver a memorable experience for each and every Guest.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

• Greet guests warmly and assist with check-in/check-out procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and accommodating special requests.
• Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor, creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Information and Assistance:

• Offer information about local attractions, restaurants, events, and other points of interest.
• Assist guests with transportation arrangements, reservations, and other logistical needs.
• Provide directions and maps to help individuals navigate the area.

Coordination of Services:

• Coordinate and facilitate services such as room service, housekeeping, and maintenance.
• Arrange for special amenities, gifts, or surprises to enhance the Guest Experience.

Communication:

• Maintain effective communication with other staff members to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Handle incoming calls, messages, and requests promptly and professionally.

Problem Resolution:

• Address and resolve guest complaints or concerns, taking appropriate action to ensure satisfaction.
• Report any maintenance or facility-related issues to the relevant departments.
• Respond to emergency situations and liaise with relevant authorities if necessary.

Administrative Tasks:

• Keep records of guest interactions, requests, and services provided.
• Handle billing and payment transactions for certain services.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of local attractions, services, and amenities.
• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to guest satisfaction.
• Multitasking and organizational skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Knowledge of Property Management Systems, Point of Sale or equivalent software systems.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend and lift up to 25 lbs on occasion.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or a related field is often preferred.
