We have a permanent full-time opportunity for an Guest Relations Admin Assistant. The successful candidate will report directly to the Hotel General Manager. The successful candidate is a highly motivated and results driven individual with an energetic and entertaining personality. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role with the fundamentals of business and the ability to create processes, procedures and reports to manage information, people and projects as required.
Requirements:
  • Related administrative diploma or degree preferred
  • 5+ years of administrative support at an executive level
  • Advanced Office 365 skills including MS word, excel, outlook and powerpoint
  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry an asset
Key Qualifications include:
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills required
  • Growth mindset and thrives on improving processes
  • Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced and deadline driven environment
  • Must be able to maintain professionalism, confidentiality and a positive service attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skill with solid editing and proof-reading capabilities
  • Financial knowledge with ability to prepare reports, forecasts and budgets
  • Team player that enjoys collaboration, coordinating events and has a willingness to assist others during peak periods as well as provide coverage during absences when required
